Self-esteem and self acceptance
are highly important because they heavily influence your decisions and choices in life. P
eople with high self-esteem focus on growth and improvement, whereas people with low self-esteem focus on not making mistakes in life.
Self-acceptance is an individual's satisfaction or happiness with oneself, and is thought to be necessary for good mental health.

Having low opinion of yourself can affect our emotions by feeling : Depressed, hurt, angry, frustrated, anxious, ashamed, guilty and stressed Negative and self-critical thoughts such as "I'm so stupid, I'm worthless, It's all my fault, I'm a failure and I'm not good enough."

✿ Feeling like you’re the odd one out

By being highly critical of yourself and focusing on the negatives your self esteem becomes lower.

✿ Positive self-talk, be kind about yourself and your achievements

✿ Do things that you enjoy and Celebrate the small stuff.

✿ Manage your inner critic, would you talk to your best friend like the way you talk about yourself?

✿ Don't get held back by the pressure of perfection, perfection does not exist 

✿ View mistakes as a learning opportunity, Don't beat yourself up when you make a mistake, mistakes are so important and vital for self improvement and learning. 

✿ Everyone excels at different things, Don't compare yourself to others, everybody is different 

✿ Focus on the people you care about and feel good about yourself.
